I stayed here with my partner at the start of November last year (2023), and from stepping into the front entry it was so quiet and clean. The reception people were lovely, the public spaces were open, roomy, and so clean, and having a nice coffee machine available 24/7 with actual decaf in there was a novelty for me! Our apartment was just that - an apartment. Sitting area, kitchen and counter space, bedroom and bathroom, all spotless and really spacious. We used the gym as well, which did get a bit busy when 5 people were using it, but everyone was polite and the gym space was again very clean. I also used the free laundry room - after a day out in Birmingham during torrential rain I Birmingham slots needed to dry my trainers as they were absolutely soaked through!
Great location. However overpriced £15 for a glass of wine. Breakfast amazing staff attentive. However took all day and 4 requests for towels and toilet roll that needed replenishING.
I would give ZERO star if I can! I’m a loyalty customer to Genting for the past years but this time the experience I had is outrageous! I forgot to bring my membership card with me so borrowed my boyfriend. When I was in reception the lady scanned my card and said it’s not yours then CUT MY BOYFRIEND’S CARD WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. This is appaling! I was appalled! Then I asked why she didn’t ask me at least explain it to me what is the regulation because I still can use my DOB and full name to get in anyway. Instead of apologizing, she rolled eyes to me and said I don’t need to explain to you, I can get another card if you need.
Some good places to visit such as the trampoline Park and crazy golf, but the main atrium feels soulless and empty. This place has so much potential as an entertainment hub but always feels somewhat lacking. I hear that it is a pelo-go spot at night but we always visit in the daytime.
This is the best cricket ground in the country. I've been to all the major ones including Lords, nowhere comes close to Edgbaston for me. Been here to watch Warwickshire, Birmingham Bears, and many Tests and International games, the atmosphere is incredible.

The rooms are large with great views over the city, mini fridge, and the usual other facilities, the bed is comfortable and feather pillows. We stayed in a standard room, which could do with refurbishment, it looks dated and had shower over bath and a toilet behind the door in the bathroom. Good overall experience but rooms need to be updated in line with the public spaces.
The social nights are great, with free drinks and nibbles. The breakfast is tasty and hot. I travel to Birmingham regularly and will be using this hotel again, as well as recommending to colleagues.
I advise finding parking elsewhere too as we are currently sat in the car waiting for other drivers to come back so we can get out. Only positive really was the cleanliness of the room, pretty standard and would not rate this hotel a four star at all. Don’t waste your money especially if you are wanting to use the facilities.
I guess prices are typical of venues nowadays. Ticket price was high but you do get a full days entertainment so better value than say a premiership football match.
Just go to the one in Birmingham china town so much better can have a good time and laugh with dealers which will make your night
If it was raining we would have got very very wet!!!! But apart from that still an amazing location and lovely hotel.
Only stayed one night for a works do but defo would love to come back and visit again first time ever staying in a hotel the experience was amazing love everything with the hotel thank you to all the staff.
False advertisement for facilities. Will not stay here again! pelo information on the website about the sauna, jacuzzi or steam room opening at 4pm. This is a change that was made some time ago but as advised by a member of staff “they haven’t updated the website and have had many complaints about this” the only reason I booked was to use these facilities but didn’t get chance.
